A few minutes on top of a 1200 made the bun toasty and the chicken crunchier than it could've ever been after sitting in the serving pan for a while.

And in a different, yet related way if we're talking about food hacks on set, if you're sick of catering food, their offerings usually still allow you to make a bitchin' sandwich (there's always some type of roll, chicken or beef, lettuce and other fixins at the salad bar, etc). And often times, you can get really creative at Crafty (marshmellows, cereal, butter + microwave = homemade rice krispy treats).A.J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06280771470428710391noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8078779326914378322.post-39929654969656105962013-08-27T20:29:30.075-07:002013-08-27T20:29:30.075-07:00Ha! But we used the catering truck's stove rather than set lighting equipment to do the cooking.

I hadn't seen that bit about the Hollywood sign -- thanks!Michael Taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02569781786039595929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8078779326914378322.post-57817202417681359812013-08-25T12:32:40.271-07:002013-08-25T12:32:40.271-07:00Did you see this?
